The project is an online - blended learning collaborati on between the Certificate Higher Education students and undergraduate students from the Federal University of Espirito Santo - Department of Social Communication- Brazil. The project involves online student-led collaborative decision making , shared l ectures and experiences.   PROCESS The Certificate Higher Education shared a selection of material produced during our block one Units with the Espirito Santo students; the Espirito Santo students will use these as part of their film editing unit. REFLECTING

This project describes a moment or experience between two countries, Brazil and the UK sharing their skills and art through the use of social media. This sounds like an easy, collaborative project but it was difficult to implement, mainly due to reasons like timezones, communal setups, deadlines and language barriers. Initially, both sides of the collaboration were too shy and reciprocating topics were difficult. We sent the works we produced in the first term which were films, illustrations and depended on the students in Brazil to choose the topic of their interests that they could elaborate and use as a basis to create a film. After this process, being in touch was becoming hard because of the deadlines that the students in Brazil were trying to complete the project by. To make things easier we began to send small introductions of ourselves through an Application known as slack.
